How to diable widgets from MAC Dashboard.   Step 1 Go to Application > utilities > Terminal. Step 2 Enter this command ‘defaults write com.apple.dashboard mcx-disabled -boolean YES’ hit enter. Step 3 Then type, ‘killall Dock’ and hit enter to restart Dock without Dashboard enabled. Note : Tinkertoold is a free application to disable dashboard.
