LINUX Reliance Net-connect ZTE M880 Internet Connection Setup

Almost all dongles are detected in nowadays distributions like ubuntu ,Fedora etc…

but in my expeerience with Ubuntu 9.10 Reliance Netconnect with an ZTE M880 is not a success , i made a lot of search for Configuring Modem for its(GNOME) default Network dialer and Finally made it

Steps are as below

1. Boot to Linux

2. List your USB Devices attached

]#lsusb

Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 006 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 006 Device 002: ID 046d:c016 Logitech, Inc. M-UV69a/HP M-UV96 Optical Wheel Mouse
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 005 Device 003: ID 12d1:1001 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E620 USB Modem
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 046d:c315 Logitech, Inc. Classic New Touch Keyboard

Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

Bus 007 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

Bus 005 Device 003: ID 12d1:1001 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. E620 USB Modem

Now Suppose this(in my case it is a Huawei)
Now probe this Devvice to Kernel
]#modprobe usbserial vendor=0× 12d1 product=0× 1001

All itz Done
Now Its Ready to Connect
