ubuntu netbook remix was a real surprise for me, its all ubuntu anyway.
differences starts from the very first login,desktop is customized as never before, i felt it as the desktop of a mobile device.to the extreme left there is a new launcher for the first time. this is a launcher cum taskbar at the same time. resembles Windows 7
all the launcher items can be invoked with Windows Key + 1- 9.and this is arranged automatically, and the key assigned accordingly.
Internet connectivity
Smooth with bluetooth GPRS , Wired broadband and Wireless broadband all are connecting hazzle free
Applications
Office, Social Networking, Browsers are enough with the bundled CD, more can be easily installed from Add New Apps
Media
Good Video, Mp3 , images, better no GIMP
Sound card is showing some issues not getting good bit rate
Battery life is bit better than of windows
